ISC West 2023, taking place at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas, has plenty to consider aside from a full slate of SIA Education@ISC (March 28-30) and traipsing across the exhibition hall (March 29-31). As you scope out a daily itinerary, here are a handful of programs and activities to consider.
FAST Golf Classic
The annual Foundation for Advancing Security Talent (FAST) golf tournament on March 28 will allow industry professionals to network and golf as they support vital industry initiatives.
The golf tournament is FAST’s primary fundraising event. Funds raised through the tournament will be funneled into initiatives that support workforce development efforts to attract more qualified talent to our growing and evolving industry. For more information and to register, go here.
Mission 500 Care Pack Event
Attendees can help local families living in poverty by assisting on the show floor to assemble Care Packs and write notes of hope to children and families in need. Once assembled, Mission 500 volunteers will pack up the bags and work with a local partner to deliver the Care Packs. This activity will take place March 29, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., at booth #2117.
New Product Showcase
The Security Industry Association’s (SIA) New Products + Solutions Awards is billed as the security industry’s premier awards-based marketing program, which was established in 1979 to recognize innovative products, services and solutions in electronic physical security. Each year, the NPS program recognizes winners in several product and service categories and presents the prestigious Judges Choice and Best New Product Awards. The SIA New Products + Solutions Awards Ceremony will be held March 29, 3:30 p.m., at The Bridge on the show floor. To view product submissions, go here.
Free Professional Headshot Studio
On March 29, all ISC West badge holders can receive a free professional headshot from an experienced photographer. Head to the Workforce Development & Career Zone, booth #2123, 10:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Mission 500 Security 5K Run/2K Walk
Sunset Park (East Entrance); March 30, 7:30-8:30 a.m. Run or walk for a child in need and start fundraising today to make a difference while you're at ISC West. You'll have the opportunity to create your personal fundraising page when you register. Funds raised will be used to benefit children in need across the country.
Shuttle bus transportation will be provided to and from the Venetian Expo Taxi Ramp off the Level 1 Lower Lobby. The first shuttle bus will depart at 6:15 a.m. and the last one will depart at 7 a.m. The shuttle buses departing back to the Venetian Expo will leave as they fill up from the race. ISC West Latin American Breakfast
The Latin American Security Association (ALAS) was founded in 1997 to bring together manufacturers, distributors, end users, integrators and service providers in Latin America and the Caribbean. All Latin-American attendees are invited to join ALAS for a continental breakfast on March 30, 9-10 a.m. Trends and technologies that will lead the future of the security industry will be discussed. ISC Pub Crawl
ISC Events organizers will present the first-ever ISC Pub Crawl at ISC West. Pick up an event map to find a list of participating Pub Crawl sponsors and booth numbers. After the event, ISC will randomly draw a winner based on Digital Bonus bag completions to receive an Amex gift card. A winner will be contacted via email to claim their prize. ISC West Customer Appreciation Party
Join your industry brethren at TAO Nightclub on March 30, with complimentary admission before 1 a.m. for all ISC West attendees and exhibitors with your ISC show badge.
