Based in Dayton, Ohio, Copp Systems has provided security and fire protection services for more than 100 years.

 The acquisition of Allied Safety Services is CertaSite’s third in its home state of Indiana and 23rd overall.

The acquisition Eastman Fire for undisclosed terms is Indianapolis-based CertaSite’s eighth in the Spartans state.

The new platform marks the addition of The Riverside Co.’s third fire/life-safety platform to its Business Services portfolio, which includes CertaSite and PSI.

The acquisition is CertaSite’s second in Indiana, which is also home to the company’s headquarters and 20th overall add-on acquisition.

The acquisition is CertaSite's eighth in Ohio. This latest transaction follows the recent purchases of Cleveland’s Fire Loss Control and Columbus-based Hamrick Fire Systems.

With the addition of Fire Loss Control, CertaSite has acquired 19 fire protection and life safety companies throughout the Midwest. 

With the close of the acquisition, Owner Michael Hamrick will remain with the company as general manager of CertaSite’s Columbus operation. 

Heartland Fire & Security was founded in 2002. Its reputation will allow it to grow under CertaSite within its current customer base and expand into new markets.

With the addition of Midwest Fire Protection, CertaSite has acquired 16 fire protection and life safety companies throughout the Midwest.
