Kudos to Kevin Lehan of the Illinois Electronic Security Association for being featured on WGN-TV Chicago on May 9, on one of its Midday News Segments. Lehan, IESA executive director, touched on many topics of interest for homeowners, such as an explanation of product functionality and basic tips for burglar deterrence. You can watch Lehan on “Midday Fix: Tips for home owners from the Illinois Electronic Security Association” at http://wgntv.com/2014/05/09/midday-fix-tips-for-home-owners-from-the-illinois-electronic-security-association/#ixzz31bUDDm1U.
Just one week earlier, on May 2, Lehan and the IESA were featured on ABC 7 Eyewitness News in Chicago, in the segment, “I-Team: Protecting your home.” This fast-paced report covered several different topics, including licensing of alarm salespeople, current technology and an interview with an alarm owner, alarm system pricing, and even a basic explanation/video footage of how central station monitoring works. A lot of work goes into preparing to be interviewed on live TV. Lehan was well-prepared and spoke very professionally. We in the security industry are fortunate to have him as a spokesperson to consumers and potential customers.
