Hanwha Techwin America announced that extraLUX, an extreme low-light capability, is now available for its X series camera range. With the powerful Wisenet 5 chipset and processing technology, the extraLUX-enabled cameras capture crystal clear, true-color images in low-light conditions without IR LEDs, regardless of the environment or time of day. Using a Hanwha motorized vari-focal lens with an f-stop of .94 and a ½-in. CMOS sensor, extraLUX provides clearer, sharper images than ever before. extraLUX is now available in the XNB-6005, XNO-6085R (bullet), XNV-6085 (outdoor dome), and XND-6085 (indoor dome) X series cameras. These cameras include a motorized vari-focal lens (4.1 mm ~16.4 mm), which will allow the user to remotely zoom in/out and focus. The XND-6085 an XNV-6085 both feature full PTRZ (pan, tilt, zoom and rotate) for additional control and positioning. The XNB-6005 box camera also features a ½-in. sensor and a choice of lens configurations including an Intelligent CS (I-CS) lens that communicates its position, iris, and focus directly to the camera for more accurate and fast image adjustments. Additionally, the XNO-6085R, XNV-6085, XND-6085 and the XNB-6005 features a built-in gyro sensor for digital image stabilization which provides more accurate stable image when turned on in an environment that causes the camera to shake. For illuminating distant objects, the XNO-6085R has built-in IR that reaches 229 ft.
