Following are some tips from the 25 on the RISE honorees on what companies in the security industry can do to better grow, develop and empower their emerging leaders.

SIA has named 18 recipients for the 2024 SIA RISE Scholarship, a program offered through SIA’s RISE community, which supports the education and career development goals of young industry talent and emerging leaders.

The deadline to apply for the SIA RISE Scholarship is Friday, Sept. 22, 2023.

RISE Scholarship funds can be used to expand knowledge in the areas of business, HR, IT, marketing, sales, project management, security engineering and/or risk management.

Supported by the Foundation for Advancing Security Talent (FAST), the 2023 RISE Scholarship program will provided selected candidates with $3,000 awards.

This year marks the first time that SIA will present the Member of the Year award to two companies. 

SIA will present Feenan with the award at The Advance, SIA’s annual membership meeting, which will be held March 23 as a virtual event.

The Security Industry Association (SIA) has named five young security professionals as the recipients of the 2021 SIA RISE Scholarship, a program offered through SIA’s RISE community, which supports the education and career development goals of young industry talent.

In these new roles, Mann and Carnell will help RISE deliver educational content and networking opportunities to young professional employees of SIA member companies, college students and recent graduates interested in the global security industry.

Applications are now being accepted for the SIA RISE Scholarship, a program presented by the Security Industry Association (SIA) RISE community offering $15,000 in scholarship funds for young security professionals.
