The California Alarm Association (CAA) has announced the launch of the Women in the Security Evolution (WISE), a committee dedicated to supporting, empowering and promoting women across all disciplines within the security industry spectrum of professional roles.

The launch of WISE occurred at the CAA 2023 Winter Convention and showcased the forward thinking of the association to inspire leadership and support of women in security, according to the announcement. WISE will operate with a clear mission based on four cornerstones to enhance equality, visibility, accessibility and inclusivity for women within the electronic security industry with a notable aspect of ensuring gender neutrality for all to join.
