SDM founded its Systems Integrator of the Year Award in 2004 to recognize one company every year that demonstrates unmistakable success, a high level of innovation, the use of industry best practices, and notable growth and accomplishments in the systems integration industry. Companies of every size have earned the award and inspired their peers with the unique ways they’ve approached their business, the industry, and the community around them.
The SDM Systems Integrator of the Year award is open to all companies in the systems integration industry, regardless of their size or market niche.
If your firm meets or exceeds the preliminary criteria, then complete the form below and return it to SDM. You may use this form to nominate your own company or another systems integrator.
To be considered as an SDM Systems Integrator of the Year candidate, your company must:
- Have been in business at least three years as of January 1, 2023.
- Be in the business of selling, designing, and installing physical integrated security systems.
- Derive more than 50 percent of its revenue from the engineering/design, installation and/or service of these systems.
HOW TO APPLY
Applying for SDM’s Systems Integrator of the Year Award is a two-part process.
- Companies nominating themselves or nominating others must complete and return the online nomination form by May 1, 2023.
- Companies meeting the basic qualifications outlined in the nomination form will receive the formal application from SDM and need to return it by the specified deadline.
Once all of the applications have been received, SDM’s editorial staff reviews and scores them individually, then meets to compare scores and determine a winner. The winner is notified and a photo shoot and interview times are scheduled. The formal announcement and a feature article profiling the winning SDM Systems Integrator of the Year will be published in SDM’s October 2023 issue.
